★ Why PM Matters

Why a PM Program Pays For Itself

Skipped fluid changes, missed inspections, and reactive-only maintenance cost more than any PM plan. Here's what scheduled service actually protects.

Preserves Warranty

Most equipment warranties require documented PM at factory-recommended intervals. Skipped service is the fastest way to lose coverage when something major fails.

Protects Resale Value

A documented service history is worth thousands at trade-in or sale. Buyers pay a premium for machines with provable PM records.

Catches Failures Early

Oil sampling spots bearing wear before the engine fails. Visual inspections catch hydraulic leaks before they become hose failures. Small fixes prevent big rebuilds.

Predictable Budget

Scheduled service is a known number; emergency repair is a surprise number. PM converts equipment operating cost from variable to fixed.

Reduces Downtime

PM happens on your schedule, not the machine's schedule. Catching issues early means no machine-down emergencies on critical project days.

Documentation for Compliance

Documented service records for warranty, insurance, fleet audits, and resale — we provide detailed reports after every visit.

⚡ How It Works

How a PM Program Starts

Four steps from initial quote to recurring service. Once your program is set up you don't have to think about it — we track hours and remind you.

1

Inventory & Quote

Tell us your machines, hours, and how you use them. We build a per-machine schedule based on OEM intervals.

2

Baseline Service

Initial PM brings every machine to a known baseline — fluids fresh, filters new, oil sample on file.

3

Scheduled Service

We track hours and remind you when each interval is due. Service at our shop or your jobsite — your choice.

4

Report & Adjust

Written reports after each visit. Annual fleet review adjusts intervals based on hours, conditions, and oil analysis trends.

Find a Location 1-888-380-6420
How much does a PM program cost?
PM cost depends on machine class, tier, and intervals. A Basic PM visit on a compact excavator might run a few hundred dollars; a Standard PM with full filter package is more; Premium with oil sampling adds the lab cost. Fleet programs are quoted with volume pricing. We'll send a per-visit and annual cost in writing.
How often does my machine need PM?
Most compact equipment uses 250-hour and 500-hour intervals, with larger services at 1000 and 2000 hours. Exact intervals depend on machine make, model, and operating conditions. Heavy or dusty environments may shorten intervals. We schedule based on the OEM manual for your specific machine.
Do I have to bring my machine to your shop?
No. PM can happen at our shop, your shop, or your jobsite. Mobile PM is ideal for fleet customers and for machines that are hard to trailer. Our service trucks come fully equipped with fluids, filters, and the tools needed for scheduled service.
What's included in oil sampling?
A small sample is pulled from the engine, hydraulic, and final drive systems and sent to a lab. The lab analyzes for wear metals, contamination, fuel/coolant dilution, viscosity, and additive levels. Trended over multiple samples it warns of internal component wear before it becomes a failure.
Does a PM program affect my warranty?
It enables it. Most equipment warranties require documented PM at factory intervals using OEM or equivalent fluids and filters. Skipped or poorly documented PM is the most common warranty denial reason. Our PM documentation is built to satisfy warranty audit requirements.
Can I customize the PM program for my fleet?
Yes. Fleet customers get custom programs that account for machine mix, utilization, operating environment, and budget. We can set intervals more aggressively for high-utilization machines, build in priority response for critical units, and provide fleet-level reporting.
What if I only have one machine?
Single-machine PM is fully supported. You can sign up for any of our standard tiers (Basic, Standard, Premium) on a per-visit basis with reminders, or pay annually for the year's scheduled services up front.
What brands do you service under PM?
We're factory-authorized for Bobcat, DEVELON (Doosan), Kubota, Fecon, Gravely, SnowWolf, and Mr. Manhole. Our technicians also service most other major makes — PM isn't brand-restricted, we follow each OEM's published schedule.
What if you find a problem during PM?
Findings are documented in the written report with recommendations. Minor issues we'll often fix on the spot (with your approval); larger issues are scheduled as separate repairs so PM time stays predictable. You always approve before any repair beyond the quoted PM scope.

Stop Reacting. Start Scheduling.

A PM program turns equipment maintenance from a surprise cost into a predictable line item — and keeps your machines on the job. Quote your program today.
