What is the difference between a compact track loader and a skid steer?
The main difference is the undercarriage. Compact track loaders run
on rubber tracks, providing better flotation on soft, muddy, or uneven terrain and less ground
disturbance on finished surfaces. Skid steers use wheels and are typically faster on hard, flat
surfaces. CTLs are often the better choice for landscaping, site work, and jobs where ground
conditions vary.
