XL Speedplate - Mr. Manhole

The Mr. Manhole Speedplate System is designed to provide the correct fit for virtually any manhole frame, ensuring fast, accurate, and efficient cutting operations. Because manhole frame designs vary by manufacturer and region, Mr. Manhole offers three different Speedplate options so operators can match the appropriate plate to their specific application. Every cutter package includes the Standard Speedplate, which securely locks into compatible manhole frames to precisely center the cutter during operation. In addition to ensuring accurate cuts, the Speedplate also allows the cutter to lift and remove both the manhole frame and the surrounding road overcut, significantly simplifying the removal process. When working with alternative frame styles, specialized Speedplates are available to maintain the same level of precision, efficiency, and ease of use across a wide range of manhole installations.

Description:

The XL Speedplate is designed for larger manhole frames commonly found in utility and heavy infrastructure applications. Compatible with lid seat diameters ranging from 23 to 43.5 inches, it securely attaches beneath the lid seat to accurately center the cutter while supporting the removal of both the manhole frame and the surrounding road material. The XL Speedplate is compatible with all Mr. Manhole cutters, allowing the machine to lift the Speedplate and remove the frame and pavement overcut in a single operation for faster, more efficient manhole rehabilitation.
