Built for operators who need the flexibility to process everything from oversized, twisted rounds to straight-grain firewood, the Split-Fire 4406 combines 32 tons of splitting force with both 2-way and 4-way splitting capability. The splitting zone is positioned directly in front of the operator for excellent visibility, allowing the 2-way wedge to tackle large, difficult rounds while the 4-way wedge quickly quarters straighter material for increased productivity.

Engineered for demanding applications, the 4406 features a heavy-duty 4-way frame, reinforced log stops, a reinforced slider, and additional fasteners for long-term durability. An approximately 8- to 13-second complete cycle time, depending on carrier hydraulic flow and pressure, helps keep production moving efficiently. A 12-inch standoff provides additional working clearance, while the heavy-duty plate bumper and integrated hydraulic hose management add protection when processing the large, challenging wood other splitters may struggle to handle.
