Designed for arborists, farms, and firewood operations handling oversized rounds, the Split-Fire 4208 inverted skid steer log splitter allows operators to break down large, difficult logs without leaving the comfort of the cab. Delivering 32 tons of splitting force at 2,900 PSI, the 4208 is best suited for mid-size and larger skid steers. Its inverted design lets operators position, control, and split heavy rounds directly from the operator’s seat, providing a more efficient way to work in demanding conditions year-round.

Built to tackle large, twisted, and otherwise difficult-to-handle wood, the 4208 is ideal for processing oversized rounds into outdoor boiler fuel or breaking them down for further processing with a smaller splitter. Extended-stroke configurations are available for operators working with longer boiler wood. Hydraulic fluid and power are supplied directly by the skid steer, while a durable UHMW slider helps minimize attachment-specific maintenance for dependable performance season after season.
