Delivering 20 tons of splitting force at 2,900 PSI, it allows operators to use the excavator to position, handle, and split logs that can weigh 400 pounds or more, reducing strenuous manual handling while turning oversized wood into manageable firewood.

A heavy-duty tube frame protects the cylinder and slider while lifting, pushing, positioning, and splitting logs in demanding conditions. With the operator controlling the entire process from the excavator cab, the 3209 makes it easier to break down oversized rounds that might otherwise be difficult to process or left behind. The resulting pieces can be used as boiler wood or further processed into finished firewood, helping turn challenging logs into valuable heating fuel.
