The Develon Log Grapple is designed to maximize productivity when loading, sorting, and transporting logs in forestry operations. Paired with a Develon log loader, it delivers the gripping power and control needed to handle timber efficiently while maintaining smooth, precise material placement in demanding logging and mill yard applications.

Engineered for Strength and Durability

Constructed with premium T1 steel in both the grapple body and arms, the Log Grapple is built to withstand harsh forestry environments and heavy daily use. Large-diameter induction-hardened pins provide increased wear life by distributing loads across a larger surface area, while induction-hardened steel bushings deliver long service life and can be replaced easily to simplify maintenance. High-pressure bolted-head hydraulic cylinders are designed to resist heavy column and side loading for dependable performance in the toughest working conditions.

Reliable Control and Easy Serviceability

Counterbalance-style load-holding valves securely retain logs until the operator intentionally releases the load, improving safety and material control. A high-torque hydraulic rotation motor provides smooth, continuous grapple movement, while the large-diameter slewing ring is designed for long service life and simplified maintenance with easily accessible guarding. Bolt-on component guards help protect critical hydraulic and mechanical components from damage, and lugged grapple arms allow optional bolt-on brush rakes to increase versatility for additional forestry and land clearing applications.
