Description
The 2026 Bobcat E10 is a premier choice for contractors and landscapers who require precision and power in a compact footprint. As a brand-new addition to our inventory, this excavator is designed to navigate tight job sites and confined spaces with ease, making it an essential asset for residential projects, utility work, and detailed excavation tasks.
Engineered for reliability and performance, the E10 delivers the signature durability Bobcat is known for. Whether you are tackling trenching, site preparation, or material handling, this machine offers the maneuverability and control necessary to maximize productivity on any project. Visit our Byron Center, MI location to inspect this pristine, unused unit and see how it can elevate your fleet's capabilities.
What Makes the E10 Different
Retractable Blade & Undercarriage
The hydraulically activated retractable undercarriage lets you squeeze through tight gates and doorways, then expand back to full width for maximum stability and digging power once you're on the job.
In-Track Swing Frame
Bobcat's exclusive In-Track Swing Frame keeps the swing castings and cylinders within the width of the tracks even in an offset digging position. Dig flush against a wall or obstacle without exposing components to damage — or sacrificing your ability to work in tight spaces.
Selectable Control Pattern
Switch between excavator and backhoe control patterns from inside the cab. No keys, no special tools — just the pattern that works for the operator running the machine.
2-Speed Travel
Select low range for pushing and dozing, high range for faster jobsite mobility. Move across the site quicker and spend more time working, less time traveling.
Top-Mounted Boom Cylinder
The hydraulic cylinder mounts on top of the boom, not below it — no contact with the trench bottom, bucket, or nearby obstacles. A protected cylinder means fewer repairs and longer service life.
Fold-Down TOPS
Fold the tip-over protective structure down to pass under low branches, building overheads, and through doorways. Get into confined work areas without leaving equipment at the gate.
Ergonomic Controls
Grade, level, and backfill with less operator input. Soft-grip pilot joysticks, a one-hand travel control, and adjustable arm rests keep operators comfortable and productive through long shifts.
Centralized Grease Bank
One easy-access location handles lubrication of the slew bearing and slew pinion, plus track tensioning. Less time under the machine means more time on the job.

E10 Features & Benefits
Performance 4
Selectable Control Pattern
Easily change between "excavator" and "backhoe" patterns. No keys are required.
2-Speed Travel
Maneuver faster with the Bobcat 2-Speed option. The quicker you can move on your jobsite, the faster you can complete your work. Select low range for pushing and dozing and high range for increased jobsite mobility.
Fold-Down Tip Over Protective Structure (TOPS)
Pass underneath branches, low openings and through doorways to get to your work area.
Retractable Blade & Undercarriage
The hydraulically activated retractable undercarriage gives you the flexibility to access tight gates and doorways while maintaining its power as an excavating machine. The retractable blade also gives the operator greater ability to move in small areas.
Comfort 5
Ergonomic Controls
Operator-friendly, ergonomic controls keep you productive all day long. Control attachments with precision, flexibility and low fatigue. Grade, level and backfill with less operator input. Head to the next jobsite using the one-hand travel control. Adjust the arm rests for added comfort.
Learn MoreIn-Cab Pattern Selector
A pattern selector allows you to change from an "excavator" to a "backhoe" control pattern. No keys or special tools are required.
Adjustable Control Consoles
The operator has the ability to adjust the LH and RH control consoles outward for comfort or inward for access through narrow openings.
Hydraulic Joystick Control
The hydraulic joystick control on the Bobcat excavator delivers smooth, fluid operation and increased efficiency.
Soft Grip Joysticks
Bobcat excavators feature soft-grip pilot control joysticks that provide effortless control of the workgroup.
Uptime Protection 5
In-Track Swing Frame
The exclusive In-Track Swing Frame on Bobcat® compact excavators gets you closer to your work.
When you dig in an offset position, the swing castings and cylinders remain within the tracks to help you work in small spaces. You can dig flush against an obstacle, minimizing the chances of inadvertent contact. Ultimately, you can reduce operating costs of repairs to your machines or adjacent structures.
Other brands cannot match this feature: When they work in an offset digging position, their components extend outside the tracks and reduce their ability to dig in tight areas.
Protected Components
No other manufacturer provides so many job-proven features to give you more uptime in the field. Bobcat® compact excavators have more standard features that help you stay on the job longer.
Bobcat steel hydraulic lines offer better protection than rubber hoses. They're routed through the lower portion of the boom swing casting and tucked securely into the top area of the boom structure, preventing costly damage and protecting component life. Hoses have more steel tubing, well-designed mounts and minimal fittings.
The boom, arm and attachment/bucket offer better lifting performance and even longer durability. Cast pivot joints provide precise pin alignment which lengthens the service life of pivot pins and bushings. The work group easily accommodates a second set of auxiliary hydraulics, so you can add the option faster and for less cost.
Plus, a strong, lightweight composite door on cab models withstands years of tough work.
Simple Machine Tie-Down
Get on and off the jobsite faster. Secure your load quickly, without searching for hard-to-reach tie-downs.
Top-Mounted Boom Cylinder
Vital machine components on Bobcat® E10 and E20 compact excavators are protected from damage by design. The hydraulic cylinder is mounted on top of the boom to prevent contact with the trench, bucket or nearby obstacles.
Multiple Tailswing Configurations
Choose an excavator model with the tail swing configuration that best matches the needs of your jobsite. Models provide different levels of maneuverability.
Conventional Tail Swing
Conventional tail swing models deliver the greatest lift capacity in the excavator lineup. Conventional tail swing excavators also have a narrower stance (width) for easier loading onto a trailer and better access through doorways, gates, property lines or other tight areas on the job site.
Minimal Tail Swing
Minimal tail swing provides more maneuverability than conventional tail swing, however the rear of the house protrudes as much as 6 in. beyond the width of the tracks. Slew and deposit soil where you need it, reposition the machine fewer times, and worry less about inadvertently contacting any surrounding objects.
Zero Tail Swing (ZTS)
Zero Tail Swing (ZTS) excavators give you more unrestricted rotation and provides greater flexibility if you are constantly working close to objects or against a wall. The rear of the house stays within the width of the tracks through full rotation.
Serviceability 1
Centralized Grease Bank
A centralized grease bank makes fast, simple work of lubricating the slew bearing and slew pinion. With the large opening, it's simple and easy to reach the well-protected grease cylinder fitting and complete track tensioning.
Why Buyers Choose the E10
Ultra-compact 28 in retracted width for gates, doorways and tight residential access
Zero tail swing keeps the rear of the house within the tracks when rotating near walls or obstacles
Hydraulically retractable undercarriage expands to 43 in for added stability once positioned
6 ft dig depth and 10.2 ft reach at ground level for shallow utility, landscape and repair work
Standard auxiliary hydraulics and rubber tracks support practical attachment use with low ground disturbance
Fold-down TOPS, selectable control pattern and simple service points make the machine approachable for varied operators
