A fine swing function minimizes unwanted machine movement when handling heavy loads for greater precision and safer operation, while a one-touch power boost on the right-hand joystick delivers additional hydraulic lifting power whenever it's needed. A fully guarded upper structure and high-walker undercarriage, complete with heavy-duty track links, double grouser shoes, and full-length track guards, provide the durability required for continuous forestry work.

The DX225RB-7 is available with either a standard-height ROPS cab or an optional forestry cab designed to enhance operator protection and visibility. The standard road builder cab provides an excellent vantage point for pioneering and land clearing tasks, while the optional side-entry forestry cab features an available 32 mm guarded polycarbonate front window along with polycarbonate side and rear windows for increased protection in harsh forestry environments.

Standard auto shutdown reduces unnecessary fuel consumption by automatically turning off the engine after a preset idle period. A multifunction color LCD display provides machine status, maintenance information, fuel consumption data, attachment presets, and live camera views for improved machine management and operator convenience.
