What Makes the TL519 Different
Telescopic Boom Reach
A single telescoping boom lifts loads high and reaches out over walls, trailers and obstacles — placing material where a fixed-arm loader can't. In the compact TL519, that reach comes in a chassis that's easy to move between jobs and maneuver on tight sites.
Four Steering Modes
Front-wheel steer for road travel, all-wheel steer for a tight turning circle, crab steer to move the machine sideways for precise positioning, and semi-crab steer to set the rear wheels in a crab position while steering with the front wheels.
Standard Four-Wheel Drive
Permanent four-wheel drive puts power to all four wheels for traction on soft, muddy, sandy or uneven ground — so the TL519 keeps working in conditions that stop two-wheel-drive machines.
Power Bob-Tach™ Attachment Versatility
The Power Bob-Tach mounting system swaps buckets, pallet forks, grapples and more in moments, turning one telehandler into a year-round tool carrier for construction, agriculture and material handling.
Operator Visibility & Comfort
A low-profile boom and large glass area give clear sightlines to the forks and the load at height, while an ergonomic cab keeps controls within easy reach for a full shift of productive work.
Bobcat Diesel Power
An efficient Bobcat diesel engine delivers the hydraulic flow and drive performance to lift, reach and travel under load — built for long days and easy serviceability.

TL519 Features & Benefits
Performance 17
High Load Capacity and Lift Height
The Bobcat TL519 telehandler is compact in size, but it brings outsized productivity with 5,500 pounds of rated lift capacity and 19.6 feet of lift height.
74 hp Tier 4 Bobcat Engine
This model features an advanced Tier 4 turbo-charged engine that delivers powerful, high-torque performance, excellent efficiency and achieves emissions compliance without the use of a diesel particulate filter (DPF) or selective catalyst reduction (SCR). Operators will also appreciate the engine's reliable cold weather starting and a variety of features that make maintenance and service more convenient.
Turbo-Charged Performance: The turbo-charged engine provides consistently high torque levels, regardless of the elevation of any worksite.
Simple, State of the Art and Non-DPF: One of the biggest advantages of our Tier 4 engine is simplicity. The Bobcat engine meets Tier 4 regulations without a DPF or SCR, reducing downtime from DPF regeneration and long-term DPF maintenance costs — so operators can focus on working.
Hydrostatic Transmission
Bobcat telehandlers offer a heavy-duty hydrostatic transmission that delivers smooth, quick power when you need it and high wheel torque for digging and pushing. Operation is safe and easy, with many additional features to help you get the job done quickly and efficiently.
Four Steering Modes
Bobcat telehandlers have four steering modes to give you tailored maneuverability for every application.
- All-wheel steer allows you to make quick and tight turns.
- Front-wheel steer is your standard steering mode, with the front wheels controlling the direction of the machine.
- Crab steer takes your maneuverability one step further by allowing precise side-to-side positioning.
- Semi-crab steer lets operators set the rear wheels in a crab position while steering with the front wheels.
Five Operation Modes
Five operation modes give you the versatility you need for a wide variety of applications:
- ECO Mode: Maintain hydraulic performance without using the engine's full power – work with lower rpm, less noise and lower fuel consumption. Toggle on/off from a control-panel button.
- Smooth Drive Mode: Shift from dynamic to smooth drive for a smoother response to acceleration and deceleration, enhancing precision at lower speeds.
- Dynamic Drive Mode: Take full advantage of the telehandler's high productivity with increased responsiveness to acceleration and deceleration.
- Flex Drive Mode: Use the engine speed lever to manage travel speed independently from engine speed for a new level of efficiency and precision.
- Advanced Attachment Control Mode: Control engine and travel speed separately for full auxiliary hydraulic performance. Set drive-speed increments from 1 to 99 for the ideal mix of attachment performance and machine control; an attachment travel mode lets you switch to faster travel on the fly and back.
Two Travel Speeds
The TL519 has standard two-speed travel for improved productivity during work and travel. A convenient button on the joystick lets the operator easily change speed modes on or between jobsites.
- Travel: In travel speed, the TL519 can move across large jobsites or to another jobsite at speeds as high as 17 mph.
- Work: In low range, operators have maximum pushing power at higher engine rpm, matching tractive effort to ground conditions for balanced performance and precise control during routine loading and material handling.
Optimum Tractive Effort
Turbo-charged Tier 4 Bobcat engines achieve optimum tractive force, giving these telehandlers impressive pushing power in their size classes.
Automatic Tilt (Attachment) Positioning
The bucket or attachment positioning feature speeds up material handling and boosts productivity. It prevents spillage when raising and lowering the boom to ensure consistent, productive attachment performance.
Two-Stage, Low-Profile Boom
The low-profile telescopic boom gives you the power to access a wide range of lift heights and reach lengths. The boom profile provides increased visibility to the operator's right side, and the low rear pivot point helps make it a powerful machine when pushing — as the machine pushes, more of the weight stays on the front axle.
Automatic Ride Control (Option)
An option on the TL519, automatic ride control reduces material spillage and enables faster travel for increased productivity, with a dampening effect that smooths the ride across uneven terrain. It deactivates at low travel speed to give you maximum rated load capacity, then resumes as you get back up to speed.
Auxiliary Hydraulics
Auxiliary hydraulic couplers with integrated pressure release are conveniently located on the boom head, enabling operators to change hydraulic attachments quickly and easily.
Auxiliary Flow Management
Operators can set the amount of continuous auxiliary hydraulic flow – up to 100% – to achieve the attachment performance necessary for optimal productivity.
Continuous Hydraulic Flow With Dual Detent
Dual-direction detent allows hydraulic flow to be engaged continuously, in either direction, without holding a switch — giving operators more flexibility with hydraulic-powered attachments.
Large-Diameter Tires
The large-diameter tires have an aggressive all-terrain tread that won't bog down in soft ground conditions.
Boom Float
Enable the boom float while moving on uneven ground for smooth performance with attachments. Float in reverse to finish grading with a bucket.
Standard Counterweight
The standard counterweight provides for greater load and reach capacity.
Integrated Lift Eye
The integrated lift eye gives you a convenient method for handling objects and materials around the jobsite.
Durability & Uptime Protection 16
Box-Welded Frame With Protective Chassis
Bobcat designs all of its telehandlers with the same robust box-welded frame for enhanced rigidity – plus a low center of gravity for optimal stability. The engine, cooling system and many critical components are well-protected within the center of the chassis, ensuring minimal wear and tear from jobsite obstacles or harsh terrain.
Automatic Battery Disconnect
A few moments after you turn off your machine, the battery is automatically disconnected, preventing accidental battery discharge.
Side-by-Side Cooling Design
The radiator, oil cooler and intake air coolers are mounted side by side, carefully located to receive the same quality and temperature of air, which provides efficient, consistent cooling even in the most severe and dirty conditions.
Cyclonic Air Prefilter
The built-in cyclonic air prefilter with automatic dust evacuation helps maximize uptime, cutting down filter clogging and ensuring efficient engine cooling in dusty environments.
Robust Boom Design
Bobcat telehandlers combine specific features to maximize reliability in even the most severe conditions, including high-tensile steel, U-welded shapes, an integrated boom head and robust wear pads.
Sealed Engine Compartment
The engine compartment provides an enclosed environment to help shut out dust and debris, ensuring long component life.
Automatic Reverse Cooling Fan
Excellent for dusty and light-material applications, the automatic reversible fan keeps the radiator area cleaner for longer. Flip a switch to reverse the cooling fan or set it to automatically reverse at 30-, 45-, 60- or 90-minute intervals to purge the system of dust and debris.
Protected Cylinders
Cylinders are strategically located in areas less prone to damaging contact on the job, protecting them from harm.
Fine Mesh Intake Screen
The engine cover screen helps prevent large debris from entering the engine basket and plugging the radiator.
Poly Fuel Tank
Diesel is contained in a durable, rust-free polypropylene fuel tank to minimize condensation and contamination of the fuel system.
Machine Protection
Bobcat telehandlers monitor engine and hydraulic functions. If conditions risk damage, the system alerts the operator and, if necessary, de-rates engine power and hydraulic flow — while still allowing the operator to move the telehandler to an area for diagnosis.
Impact-Resistant Engine Access Panel
The engine access panel resists damage from impact and retains its good looks for years, thanks to its flexible, resilient and rust-free composite construction.
Reinforced Heavy-Duty Boom Pivot and Enclosed Frame Welds
The boom pivot features thick steel reinforcement for enhanced durability and long life. Heavy-duty enclosed frame welds offer additional support throughout the frame.
Common Parts
Many telehandler parts are the same ones used in other Bobcat products for better parts availability and minimal downtime.
Window Guards (Optional)
Designed to protect you and your investment in the toughest conditions, the optional front and top window guards protect your machine from falling and flying debris.
Heavy-Duty Engine Mounts and Compartment
A protected engine starts with a thick steel frame that covers both sides and the bottom of the engine. Rubber engine mounts reduce shock on difficult terrain.
Comfort 21
High-Visibility Design
The low-profile boom sits below the operator's eye level for an optimal view of your surroundings, and the engine basket sits lower for even greater visibility. Front, top and rear window wipers clear moisture and minimize buildup of dust, debris and mud, while multiple mirrors add visibility in confined areas. Optional rear mirror, rear-view camera and boom work-light kits are also available.
Spacious and Comfortable Cab
Bobcat telehandler cabs build on the tradition of operator-centered design with high visibility, excellent ergonomics, a comfortable suspension seat, an efficient HVAC system and an easy-to-read instrumentation panel — comfort built in for all-day operation.
ROPS/FOPS Operator Cab

Simple Control Layout
Convenient, intuitive and easy to find, the telehandler's controls make operation easy and productive.
Multi-Control Joystick
An industry-leading single joystick controls travel direction, lift and tilt, boom extension and auxiliary hydraulics — letting operators control several functions at once from one point without removing their hand. The directional switch for forward, neutral and reverse works with the index finger, while two-speed travel, lift-arm float, boom extension, machine settings and auxiliary hydraulics sit on the rear of the joystick.
Tilt and Telescopic Steering Wheel
With tilt and telescopic functionality, the steering wheel can be adjusted to the perfect position for any operator.
Semi-Automatic Wheel Realignment
When you cycle through steering modes, the wheel alignment system semi-automatically reorients your wheels to quickly transition between front-wheel, all-wheel, crab and semi-crab steer.
Smart Handling System (SHS)
The Bobcat Smart Handling System lets the operator easily adjust the speed of boom movements (lift, tilt, telescope) via controls on the joystick — the perfect solution when you need high engine power and precise boom motions.
Boom Cushioning System
The boom cushioning system makes it easier to confidently handle your load, allowing smoother motion as the boom angles to its minimum or maximum pitch or reaches full retraction.

Opening Rear Window and Split Door
The rear window provides an emergency exit, and the split door lets you work with open windows for easier communication on the job.
Standard Heat and Air Conditioning
The AC unit is integrated into the machine — no bulky add-on unit in your way — and the vents let you point air where you need it for greater comfort in all weather.
Dynamic Braking System
The dynamic braking system decelerates and stops the machine as soon as you lift off the accelerator pedal — unlike a torque-converter transmission that coasts — giving you maximum control on slopes to inch up or down without applying the brake.
Automatic Parking Brake With Slope Assist
Release the accelerator pedal at idle and the parking brake automatically engages. Disengage with a button on the instrumentation panel or by pressing the accelerator. Slope assist holds the machine's position on inclines and trailer ramps for easier, more intuitive control on every surface.
Brake Pedal With Inching Control
Slowing down to load a truck or maneuver around obstacles shouldn't slow hydraulic performance. The brake pedal with inching control lets you precisely manage ground speed while maintaining engine rpm, retaining full power to the work group and attachment for quick cycle times.
Serviceability 6
Simple Cooling System Cleanout
The side-by-side mounted radiator, oil cooler and fan provide a clean engine compartment layout for easy access — dirt and debris removal is quick and simple whenever cleaning is necessary.
Double-Element Air Filter
Uptime protection starts with a double-element air cleaner system — critical for a machine this versatile.
