Description
PG150 Portable Generator
Cool and quiet, the Bobcat® PG150 portable generator delivers ruggedly reliable power even in the most challenging working conditions.
- 154 kVA (123 kW) output at 69 dB(A)
- Powered by a Cummins QSB5-G12 engine
- Optional Tundra Package engineered for extreme cold
- Designed for easy serviceability on the jobsite
One of the coolest and quietest generators on the market, the PG150 portable generator from Bobcat features is also one of the most reliable generators able to withstand the harshest working conditions. At 100% load, it delivers 154 kVA (123 kW) of power output at a stunningly quiet 69 dB(A).
The PG150 was engineered for easy serviceability, whether on the jobsite or back at the shop. It features a user-friendly, galvanized steel enclosure design with separate compartments for the powertrain and cooling system, which utilizes radial cooling fan technology – an industry first.
Easy to tow and maneuver around the jobsite, the PG150 is powered by a Cummins QSB5-G12 engine with improved fuel efficiency, allowing the generator to run for 27 hours at 75% load. It also comes equipped with a standard dual-frequency switch that allows the generator to change from 50Hz to 60Hz.
Connection panels on the PG150 portable generator are easily accessible for improved safety and convenience. The panels also feature more power wiring connections, a terminal board that accepts bare wire or lugged cable, an array of twist-lock and GFCI receptacles, and an optional camlock panel to further expand connection versatility.
Engineered tough for a long, hardworking lifespan, the PG150 offers best-in-class serviceability for maximum productivity and uptime with 500-hour service intervals. It’s equipped with an upsized alternator with AREP, protecting against overload and short-circuiting, offering voltage stability and greater motor starting capacity. And the optional Tundra Package – added coolant heater, oil pan heater, battery charger, battery heater pad and heated breather hose – keeps the power flowing even in extreme cold (as low as -40˚F).
Answering the call for easier to read diagnostics, the PG150 features an analog control panel enhanced with large, brightly lit meters for at-a-glance monitoring. The onboard engine diagnostic display panel also contains the necessary controls and indicators that operate and maintain the aftertreatment regeneration process.
A run/idle switch on the control panel helps to reduce unnecessary engine wear during startup, especially in extreme cold temperatures, while the voltage selector switch provides quick, easy voltage configuration. This signature safety feature protects against costly downtime by preventing operators from switching voltage during operation.
