How do I know when my Bobcat warranty expires?

Standard Bobcat warranties are typically tied to a date or machine-hour limit, whichever comes first. Coverage varies by model and the type of equipment you purchased. The fastest way to confirm your expiration date is to log into my.bobcat.com or contact Carleton Equipment with your machine serial number and we'll look it up for you.

What is a BobCheck✓ inspection?

A BobCheck✓ inspection is a full health check performed by Bobcat-certified technicians at Carleton Equipment. It covers fluids and filters, hydraulics, engine performance, tires or tracks, the electrical system and battery, plus attachment hookups and safety systems. Running it before your warranty expires lets us catch and repair covered issues while they're still under warranty.

Should I get a BobCheck✓ inspection or extend my warranty — or both?

Both, ideally. The BobCheck✓ inspection uses up any remaining factory coverage by surfacing problems while they're still covered. Protection Plus® then takes over from there with factory-backed parts and labor coverage for the years and machine hours ahead — so you're protected against the bigger, more expensive repairs that tend to show up later in a machine's life.

What does Bobcat Protection Plus extended warranty cover?

Protection Plus® is a factory-backed extended warranty that adds coverage beyond the standard Bobcat warranty. Depending on the plan, it covers the powertrain, hydraulics, full-machine components, and electronics. Term lengths run from 12 to 48 months with corresponding machine-hour limits. Protection Plus® is generally purchased while the machine is still within the standard warranty period.
