Built for full-size skid steers and capable mini skid steers, the Split-Fire 4206 is designed to tackle oversized, difficult logs measuring 48 inches and beyond. Ideal for firewood producers, property owners, and arborists processing large drop-offs, the 4206 positions the splitting area directly in front of the cab for excellent visibility and comfortable operation. Its heavy-duty construction includes a 3/8-inch-thick plate bumper and protected hydraulic hoses to withstand the demanding conditions associated with handling massive rounds.

Rated for 32 tons of splitting force, the 4206 delivers approximately 8- to 13-second complete cycle times depending on the carrier’s auxiliary hydraulic flow and pressure. A 12-inch standoff provides additional clearance and flexibility for splitting logs in either horizontal or vertical orientations. Operators can use the carrier to safely position and break oversized rounds into manageable boiler wood or smaller sections ready for further processing into finished firewood.
