The near-zero reduced tail swing on the Doosan® DX235LCR-5 allows you to work close to buildings and in confined areas without sacrificing performance. The DX235LCR-5 is designed to work on congested jobsites such as roadways and rail lines without blocking traffic in the adjacent lane or track.
It also minimizes the potential for damage when working close to buildings or walls. At the same time, the long carriage track design offers exceptional performance in all operating conditions, including heavy digging and lifting operations.
The high-pressure common rail fuel injected engine and Electronic Power Optimizing System (EPOS) deliver optimum power and fuel efficiency. The design optimizes combustion and torque for faster cycles and maximum results. Choose between four work modes, auto-idle and machine diagnostics.
An optional two-way dozer blade simplifies backfilling and allows the excavator to fill, smooth and level trenches more efficiently. When cleaning up, a smooth cutting edge on the bucket allows you to clean right up to the edge of the dozer blade, reducing further cleanup later. Plus, the dozer blades’ robust design allows for moderate site grading, reducing the need for other equipment to complete the task.
Smart Power Control (SPC) improves machine efficiency while maintaining productivity through variable speed control and pump torque control. Each of the four power modes will function with SPC engaged or disengaged, however SPC only is active in the digging work mode. Auto shutdown helps owners save fuel while the machine isn’t working.
Comfort advantages include a roomy cab, clear controls, excellent visibility, high-performance air conditioning and extra storage. The standard air suspension seat includes height and weight adjustments, headrest and armrest, and reclining options.
If equipped with the optional two-way auxiliary hydraulics, use the optional foot pedal or joystick buttons to control auxiliary attachments.
A multi-function 7 in. color LCD monitor panel displays a variety of machine information, including operation history, flow rate control and filter/oil information. It also displays video from the rear-view camera, which is uniquely placed to give you better visibility to blind spots. A split screen mode enables you to see machine information and the camera at the same time.
Designed for long life with an extra-sturdy frame and reinforced superstructure, the DX235LCR-5 is built for reliability. To comply with Tier 4 emissions standards, the DX235LC-5 incorporates a high-pressure common-rail (HPCR) fuel delivery system as well as cooled exhaust gas recirculation (CEGR) combined with a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) and selective catalyst reduction (SCR).
