Built to tackle the most demanding tasks, the DX210W-5 offers the greatest horsepower, breakout force, and dig depth of any Doosan® wheel excavator. With a versatile combination of powerful performance and easy mobility, it’s ideal for job sites requiring uncompromised power and maneuverability.
Its modular design allows you to easily configure the machine’s undercarriage with a front dozer blade with outriggers in the rear or outriggers on either end of the machine. The dozer blade can be used for leveling or backfilling material, or stabilizing the machine during digging applications. The blade's large dozer bottom and parallel design minimize ground pressure. Outriggers can be individually controlled in order to level the machine on slopes. The DX210W-5 can be ordered with either a one-piece, standard boom or two-piece, articulated boom.
The Electronic Power Optimizing System (EPOS) delivers optimum power and fuel efficiency. The design optimizes combustion and torque for faster cycles and maximum results. Four work modes, auto-idle and machine diagnostics help you manage your fuel costs.
Smart Power Control (SPC) improves machine efficiency while maintaining productivity through variable speed control and pump torque control. Each of the four power modes will function with SPC engaged or disengaged, however SPC only is active in the digging work mode.
An advanced disc brake system works directly on the hub instead of the drive shaft to avoid planetary gear backlash. This eliminates the rocking effect associated with working free on wheels. The driveline allows more comfort when traveling thanks to increased smoothness and improved hydraulic retarding and gear shifting.
A high-quality cab with high-performance air conditioning, better visibility, and extra storage space means more productivity. The standard air suspension seat includes height and weight adjustments, headrest and armrest, and reclining options. If equipped with the optional 2-way auxiliary hydraulics, use the optional foot pedal or joystick buttons to control hydraulic attachments.
During long work days, you’ll appreciate the reclining, height- and weight-adjustable standard suspension seat with a headrest and adjustable armrest. An emergency engine shutoff is conveniently placed at the seat base.
A standard 7 in. color LCD display provides helpful maintenance history and machine monitoring information. It also displays video from the standard rear-view or optional side view camera, which are uniquely placed to give you better visibility. A split screen mode displays the rear view camera and vital machine information at the same time. An optional side view camera can be reviewed independently or in a split screen mode.
Enjoy reduced maintenance costs and extended machine life with the durable chassis, strengthened boom and arm assembly, and extended greasing intervals. Easily access the oil filter, air cleaner, fuel filter, radiators and other engine components. The centralized boom and arm grease points are grouped for easy maintenance. To comply with Tier 4 emissions standards, the DX210W-5 incorporates a high-pressure common-rail (HPCR) fuel delivery system as well as cooled exhaust gas recirculation (CEGR) combined with a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) and selective catalyst reduction (SCR).
